Mission Kids Ministry desires to lead our children to develop Christ following life patterns which allow them to:

We do this through making opportunities for our kids to:

Connect in a relational small group and to grow in the knowledge of God

Serve others in our church body and community in Jesus'  name

Empower them to share their love of Jesus with others

We are purposeful with our time as we lead the next generation into the presence of God. Using kid-friendly activities, we strive to support parents as they raise their children to love Jesus, love the church, and love His Word.

and then will head upstairs with Auntie Renatta Heuer

We want to insure all children in our Mission Kids program are safe and well looked after while they are in our care. We maintain a strict check in and check out procedure to assure that the children are always with a safe adult. All our volunteers have completed a Ministry Safety Training Class. At Mission Kids, we strive to earn and maintain the trust of our parents so that the entire family can confidently participate in the exciting life of Mission Church.  Our computerized check in/check out saves time, increases classroom security and provides easy accessibility to families attending our church.

Coming up in the fall

Caravan is a weekly kids' club (age 4 through 6th grade) committed to the physical, social, mental, and spiritual growth of children.  It uses an active, hands-on learning approach to help kids discover, develop, experience, and grow.  Caravan also teaches children the Articles of Faith of the Church of the Nazarene, information about prominent figures in Nazarene church history, and valuable skills to help them develop spiritually, socially, mentally, and physically.

The Benson’s Buddies program is for children ages four and five.  Benson, the imaginary double-decker bus, escorts young kids on weekly trips as they discover the church, the zoo, the farm, school, and many other places.  The program teaches children about the world in which they live and lays the foundation for Christian living.
